Why We Started This
The problem was personal. Like many families, we'd share photos from events only to find that:
- Uncle Bob could see photos that Cousin Sarah uploaded (and vice versa)
- WhatsApp compressed our beautiful vacation photos into pixelated messes
- Google Photos links stayed active forever with no way to revoke access
- Professional photographers had no good way to share portfolios privately
We realized photo sharing was fundamentally broken. Every platform either prioritized convenience over privacy or treated your personal photos like social media content.
So we built the solution we wished existed: "Netflix for your photos" - complete owner control with beautiful, private viewing experiences.
